Sniffin Around STL Scent Work Club
- Member Practices -
Member practices are held once a month at different locations throughout the greater St. Louis area.
Practices are open to all members in good standing. Dogs that are started on odor or are on primary and understand the hunting for food game are welcome.
The fee is $10.00 per handler, with one dog. Advanced sign up and pay is required.
- Scheduled Practices -
November 13, 2025 (Thursday) at 6:00pm - 7:30pm at Centre of Clayton (right side of parking lot) in Clayton, MO. The available time slots are 6:00pm, 6:15pm, 6:30pm, 6:45pm, 7:00pm and 7:15pm for a total of 6 handlers and dogs allowed. Each handler and dog team that signs up will be given 15 minutes to search three areas. For each of the searches the handler may choose to run it blind, with some help or known, the choice is yours. This specific practice we will have three different elements offered, an exterior search, a container search and a buried search with at least six totes of both sand and water!

Each handler and dog team that signs up will be able to search two separate eggstraodinarily large outdoor areas.
February 28, 2025 (Friday) from 6:15pm - 7:45pm at Parkway United Church of Christ in St. Louis, MO
Each handler and dog team that signs up will get to search a container extravaganza with a large number of different types of containers along with a separate buried area, that will have at least six regulation size tubs, using both water and sand.
January 16, 2025 (Thursday) from 5:30pm - 6:30pm at Law Office in Bridgeton, MO
Each handler and dog team that signs up will be given 15 minutes to search three different interior areas.
December 4, 2024 (Wednesday) from 5:15pm - 6:45pm at Law Office in Arnold, MO
Each handler and dog team that signs up will be given 15 minutes to search three different interior areas, working on thresholds.
March 20, 2025 (Thursday) from 6:00pm - 7:30pm at Center of Clayton (parking lot) in Clayton, MO
Each handler and dog team that signs up will be given 15 minutes to search three different exterior areas.
May 21, 2025 (Wednesday) at 5:45pm - 7:15pm at Hellebusch Park in Bridgeton, MO
Each Handler and dog team that signs up will be able to search three different exterior areas working on patterns and being efficient in clearing areas.
June 5, 2025 (Thursday) at 6:00pm - 7:15pm at Parkway Northeast Middle School in Creve Coeur, MO
Each handler and dog team that signs up will be allowed to search three different container areas.
July 9, 2025 (Wednesday) at 6:00pm - 7:15pm at Reed Elementary School in St. Louis, MO
Each handler and dog team that signs up will be allowed to search three different outdoor areas.
August 7, 2025 (Thursday) at 6:00pm - 7:30pm at Parkway Northeast Middle School in Creve Coeur, MO . This practice is geared towards fun and games!
September 11, 2025 (Thursday) at 6:00pm - 7:30pm at McDonnell Park Parkway in St. Ann, MO. This specific practice is to work on exteriors!
September 24, 2025 (Wednesday) at 6:00pm - 7:30pm at Center of Clayton in Clayton, MO. This specific practice is to work on containers!
October 29, 2025 (Wedneday) at 6:00pm - 7:30pm at Centre of Clayton (right side of parking lot) in Clayton, MO. This specific practice is to work on containers and exteriors!
